looking to get my son a dsi xl to replace his ds lite

regarding the bootstrap that you match to the dsi xl

when i put the bootstrap on a uk spec will i only be able to play uk games roms
or can i play any region then

All games work regardless of the region. The UK bootstrap is meant to fool the DSi into thinking it's a DSi enhanced game and since they're region locked, you have to use the UK bootstrap version for your UK DSi XL.
