As most of you use Internet Download Manager.I have an issue with it.It checks for updates regularly.I want to block the updates.I have googled it but not found a method.All are not working.I want to disable update checking because the plugin mozilla firefox disables after new update is checked.I used crack to activate it.ANY HELP.

I saved it as hosts.txt in the same location.
I added it,but when i check for updates it checks and tells me the latest update is available.
I think i should replace,If yes,what should i replace.

Don't save as .txt save without extension

I have a very simple solution. Just uninstall Internet Download Manager (IDM) keep yourself calm and Happy.
Your browser is enough to download most of the things. And if you have enough internet speed then, pausing the downloads is not a crying need. So, IDM is really not necessary. Use some other Downloader or it would be much more better not to use any downloader.
