I apologize if this is in the wrong forum.

So I had an idea the other day about loading a fully custom (not just a theme) menu UI without modifying the existing system menu at all. I got this inspiration from the new stuff for the 3DS (boot9strap and sighax). I thought that somebody could simply make a .dol file of a completely custom menu, and we could essentially replace the Wii Menu by making the .dol autoboot with Priiloader and make it replace the Wii Menu option in the home menu through Priiloader as well.

I think this idea has many possibilities. Reply with your thoughts.

Been using USB Loader GX on autoboot for years. Am I doing it right?

I'll be honest, by custom ui, I meant something completely away from the wii design, USB Loader GX is completely based on the Wii design.

You can install themes on it to make the menu look vastly different.

Yeah, but the overall layout is still similar to the Wii. I'm talking something custom like the interface for WiiMC

You can make homebrew and use the autoboot option on PriiLoader for that. WiiHome

WiiHome doesn't work with new WiiMotes.

I think PriiLoader plus PostLoader is what you are asking for...

Then try to contact the developer and ask him to recompile it with a newer libogc...

None of the links on the WiiBrew wiki page for Wii Home work anymore so it's not likely there's a way to recompile it unless someone gets lucky and the author still has the source.
