"Curiously enough, F-Zero GX contains all the code required to play (a slightly butchered version of) F-Zero AX on the GameCube.", F-Zero GX
I read this, and it got me thinking. AX allowed arcade owners to link up up to four Triforce cabinets and they could race against each other. Depending on just how much code from AX is left over in the game, theoretically, one could mod the game and re-enable (Or import it from AX, if it's not present on GX) that code and route it to the GameCube's Broadband Adapter, and maybe even allow it to connect 30 people (Though it would require more extensive modding). Of course, further work would need to be put in for this to be usable. Any thoughts on this?

They tried this with f zero x and the project died. Onky hope for ax multiplayer is if nintendont adds lann multiplayer or wifi multiplayer and could link 2 wiis running ax.
