Hacking I uh...need some kinda help

Well, my friend just update its 3ds to 11.4 but apparently after he updated it. it cause blackscreen. it can still boot but without the sd card. BTW he is still using a9lh + Luma (shadownand) -_-
any idea how to fix this?

Try redownloading the latest arm9loaderhax.bin payload on the SD card. AFTER you can boot it up, Tell your friend he/she also needs to update to B9S because later versions of Luma will ONLY work with B9S. Site: https://3ds.guide/a9lh-to-b9s

Can you access godmode9? If so, copy the CTRNand of the luma payload (either boot.firm or arm9loaderhax.bin) to the root of the sd card.

You can also try following the black screen on sysnand boot at here: https://3ds.guide/troubleshooting, it says open this directory in SD Card: /Nintendo 3DS/(32 Character ID)/(32 Character ID)/extdata/00000000/
and delete files that are these (region specific)

00000098
Usa:
0000008f
Jap:
00000082

Tried it and not working. Should i format the 3ds withouth the sd card on it? Cuz i think that the problem, but your thought tho.

You're not supposed to be able to boot godmode9 or luma config while entering/exiting/while in the homebrew launcher cia... If you cant boot payloads at boot, that is a seperate problem.
