Hardware I think i broke the ribbon cable plug

Tried to fix my joy con drift on my Nintendo switch and now one of the ribbon plugs wont "click" and wont lock the cable in place. I didn't hear anything break, but it just wont click. Anyone dealt with it? https://imgur.com/gallery/4LSuUKg

be very carefull with those black/grey tiny clips, i broke two of them on my joycon and now they are gluewed.

since you don't point out which ribbon is not locking , i gess it's this one !
then you have just to unlock it (UP) , put the ribbon cable IN and lock DOWN

advice : you could replace the joystick without unlocking this ribbon , that's the procedure IFIXIT do when changing the joystick

Mine that broke off was the grey one just above it that locks in place the ribbon for the L button and the minus button. Ended up having to sandwich some plastic in between the top of the ribbon and the plastic shell that holds in the battery in order to keep it in place and connected. All seems to be working fine for now.
