i quit smoking pot.

so yeah im 24 years old. ive been smoking weed since i was 12. i live in canada and the weed is really good where im at. umm so yeah its time to quit, because i have no motivation or urge to do anything. (except update my wii apps lol) anyone have any good ideas?

I never touched the stuff... I don't really know why as I'm not strongly opposed to it.

Anyway, pick up a few more video games, put in extra effort at work/school, perhaps hang out with a few friends/family. Get a gf to occupy your extra time/money.

My step-mom keeps offering it to me to help me sleep, but I refuse to do it. I can't stand the smell...if I wanted to smell skunks I would've stayed in Idaho. My step-sister smokes it, but she moved out (the 17 year old...yes it is against the law, no my step-mom doesn't care). The smell makes me gag. Anyway good for you

LoL, I hope it works out, but I can't imagine you're gonna wake up in a week, and go. "Oh Shit, I'm Motivated!" Just try and find an outlet that kills less brain cells, and lung tissue, and take slow steps from that.

As Rayder says, pot isn't physically addictive. If you're having problems quitting then it's a psychological thing. I've been smoking for alot longer and was a pretty heavy smoker for a looong time. It's easy enough to just stop, but it really depends on why you were smoking.

quitting is pretty easy, just keep yourself occupied for a week and you forget all about it.

A year or so ago I slashed my weed usage by half. I did this by smoking tiny bowls and quit puffing when I'm high enough. You don't need to do some heavy chiefin' to get high, and big bowls are counterintuitive. Cause it's better to hit green over and over rather than some big black pile of shit. It is less wasteful cause you are killing the entire bowl easily and not tapping out chunks of shit.
