Gaming i player installation

whats the safest way to install i player on my wii? I have updated wii shop channel with nus downloader, but the shop channel wont seem to open now, it just takes me back to the menu.

Its softmodded and on v3.4e. I presume i have to upgrade to 4.2?

Im on a 4.2e and have no problems accessing the Wii Shop channel.

And might I add, this channel is awesome.

So if I were you, id just update (obviously not via nintendo)

my wii is 4.1e,softmoded with cioscorps 3.5 and neogamma 7 17, whats the safest way to get shop channel working so i can install i player with out up dating to 4.2,i no its dangerous to mess with cios 60 cause i have all ready bricked 1 wii

I am on 4.0E installed the shop channle wad off NUSD and got the iplayer and a free game off there

I hear upgrading to 4.2 firmware has a chance of bricking a non modded wii. I hear that Nintendo charges you if you mod your wii then brick it, to fix it. 4.2 firmware is needed for shop channel to work. I would just watch iplayer on my pc anyways, much more convenient.

i am having same problem,have used nusd and got latest shop, when i try and use shop it takes me back to menu, can any body help please, is it easier just to up date to 4.2
