Hacking I plan to buy r4ids gold 3ds rats and I'd like some help on how to set it up

From what I've read, real hot stuff seems to be a trusted retailer around here and so is r4ids, right?

Anyways, after buying it I was wondering what steps would need to be taken to set it up. I got a 2gb micro SD card already (SanDisk)

As far as my knowledge goes, I know I need the wood r4 kernel; but on their site there are updates so would I need one of them too? If so could you explain how I would go about updating it..
