PhysX can run on the CPU, too. Too bad NVidia can't be arsed to rewrite it so it runs properly on the CPU. They're just too fucking lazy and want people to buy their PhysX capable graphics cards for one stupid feature.Bulit said:I would recommend the gtx 460 for a few reasons. It is cheaper, they have similar performance, and it's made by nVidia so you get all of the cool features like physx.ACDCGAMER said:Okay, not to bump this, but I think I'm almost done finalizing my build and a few more suggestions couldn't hurt. Now I'm looking at the nVidia GTX 460 and it looks pretty well-priced! Should I get that instead of the 5850 or is it some sort of trap?![]()
Also, I just don't see if it's worth it (or even necessary) to go to a 1366 build. They apparently run hotter and use more energy than 1156s and performance-wise, some of the 1366 CPUs have almost the same benchmarks as some of the 1156 ones.![]()

Strange that - I heard the opposite, that some SeaSonic PSUs have unstable 12V rails (either too low, or drooping during prolonged use). I guess you can't always trust what "some say", although when I looked up the reviews on the PSU listed, I didn't see any reports of that so it is probably a good one.keine said:Seasonic....wow! thats even better than corsair some say.

just because you are an hour away doesnt mean you will get your stuff in one dayACDCGAMER said:Haha, I had a problem with the transaction, actually, but it was with my card. I just got it sorted out and the payment went through! Yay!
I live like an hour away from Newegg's headquarters so I should get the stuff real soon.![]()
