I downloaded a save off wiisave.com for the game Mario Sports Mix by the User FireKirby7. Unfortunately before uploading his save he went on Wifi making a friend code so everyone that uses his save will have the same Friend Code resulting in an error. Is there any way at all to reset the friend code on this save?

Wii Backup Disc v1.31 can change that.
The save file will still contain the same Friend Code and will continue not to work. In fact, this will just cause any other Friend Codes to stop functioning.

Perhaps it's possible to fix it with a hex editor, but I didn't look into that arcane save game stuff on the Wii. They probably have checksums and you'll have to fix that too. But as I said, I don't know much about the Wii saves.

Probably but it works for MH3 Hunter ID.

I don't know how MH3 handles friend codes, but all the Redfish/Pinkfish disc (which I have an ISO of) does is reset your Wii Friend Code, like the one you give out to message other people with.

That won't work because that is a different friendcode. The Wii and DS are pretty notorious for having a different friendcode for every game.
