Gaming I need help........

So I downloaded a copy of Virtual Villagers for the ds on to my dstt with ysmenu and then it freezes at somepoint (i dont know when but my bro says it freezes when he plays it) anyways the i heard that it doesnt work with dstt/ysmenu firmware. So wait the game cant be played on dstt b/c the firmware for dstt has been dead for months and the only thing alive is the unofficial. OR does it required a cheat file to fix it for it?

do u have the latest version of ysmenu, if not then get that
maybe there are some compatibility issues wwith the version of ysmenu your using
