Hacking I need help

I got a EZFlash 3 in 1 not realizing it was only for the Lite. I want a simple way to make it work for the Phat DS. Can I take the shell from one of my old GBA games and put it on the EZFlash? Or any other suggestions? I don't wanna buy anything unless it's last resort. Thank you!

The screwhole won't align properly with a regular GBA shell.

I think you need a triwing if I'm not mistaken.

Well eventually I will probably upgrade to a DS lite..
But the thing is, I don't want to get one and then a little later, a new DS comes out. Is there a chance there might be a new DS out in the coming year?
