OK! I just need a tutorial that explains it to me like im a 4 year old. Fast so i dont get so bored, Easy so i dont read a million times and dont undertand it. Easy to remember so i dont spend 50 hours trying to burn into my mind how to make a string say a varible and Personallity (optional) so its kinda like my awesome best friend is teaching me how to program and making jokes and things to keep me intrested.
I don't know good tutorials for Python, but given your requests I would actually look for a book.
And also:
My experience regarding lack of concentration and learning a programming language is that you don't read tutorials or so, you just program.
You write programs first, then you learn the programming language as a consequence.
It is important to get results fast, and see what happens when you modify things.
Just a suggestion, take your time programming changing things and understanding what happens.
After you "learn" something, stop looking at the book, modify your program and learn for yourself, then go to the next topic on the book.
Cut down your internet, throw away your TV, get a computer that has only Python and nothing else on it and your book and lock yourself inside an empty room for hours. Man, you need to concentrate (well I am exaggerating here).

tbh i bet half are the users are just faking their age...*wink*
Yes honestly i'm sure there are MANY members that are younger than they say they are. But as i said that book is not only for kids it is for beginners in the python language also, I did my research when interested in learning the language and that was THE BEST beginners book. I found it to be very informative as well as captivating as far as my attention span went (which you said you had a problem with losing captivation). IF you chose to buy the book (which is your decision), I don't think you will be dissatisfied

I can't get stuff. I need oit to be free!
It will be way better if you actually put some money into it.
Perhaps it even makes you think about taking it seriously because you spent money.
Now, you can always try your google skills if money is such a problem.

i hate to tell you this, but if you're not willing to be patient you have no hope of learning. lua is, AFAIK, the easiest language to learn that isn't basic, but if you want to do anything other than make Garry's mod SWEPs you should look towards python.
python is far more complicated than lua, but anything you want to make can be made with alot less effort than learning java, c/c++, and most powerful languages.
my last recommendation is visual basic. but only because you seem impatient and as limited and ultimately useless as it is, it seems the best choice for now.

you could also ask someone to do it for you, there's lots of nice people on this site.

Lua is losely based off of Python. And is only much more complicated because you're speaking from a point of view where all you know is lua. Lua is about the easiest language EVER so dont be surprised almost EVERY other language is harder.

huh? are you talking to me or the OP? because i said python was tougher than lua. or was i ambiguous?
i learned lua in about a month, and most of that month was messing with the weird af table library.
i love python, jic you thought i was being negative or anything.

Im glad, its a great book, and i cn help you with any questions, just PM me

The thing is that you have to think programming is fun as hell. If your ADHD kicks in and makes you bored of tutorials and whatnot, you're probably not interested enough (at that moment).
I don't know how to achieve that though, other than telling yourself "wow this is amazing" every couple of seconds :P

I wish you luck on your programming quest! :D

OK! MAN I LOVE THIS! THIS IS FUCKING GREAT! HOLY SHIT I WANNA KEEP DOING THIS AWESOME SHIT! HOLY FUCK!..a lil overboard there?

Personally i learn all programing by reading learning and adapting.

Read someone else's code, see what all the parts do, and apply them to your own.

Codeacademy doesn't help me at all. Learning by reading other code tells you what to do in your specific situation.

I used to do that with HTML. I was testing to see how i could mess around with it and used W3Schools to edit/copy code!
