I need help with my semi bricked 3ds

So for context
I was young and dumb and I was bored and moded my friends 3ds and it worked
So I was really cocky and I did another friends 3ds without backing up the nand cus i was stupid
And it worked for a bit
But for some reason the damn thing stopped working and when it turned on it booted to a darkened screen with some unrelated error code
And I tried opening it up to mess with the wifi chip and that dident work and after a long time I found out I could boot into boot9strap but the top screen doesent show anything despite being on

So I updated gm9 and luma but it was all bunk so now I'm desperate

Is there a way to just wipe the slate clean like via replacing the motherboard or the nand or something
Or like sending it somewhere to be fixed?

perhaps check to see if the top screen was properly connected. if it was. then it sounds like a hardware issue
