Hi, so, In the root of SD Card (the place where there is Nintendo 3DS, DCIM, boot9strap and other) create a folder named luma if its not there already. No misspells. Then on this luma folder create a folder named payloads. No misspells again then you put the Godmode9.firm file into this "payloads" folder. Now you should boot into godmode9 everytime you boot while clicking on start. Also, why would you use godmode9 to install cias while you can just use FBI to install your game?

eeeeh. you need like a 32 or 64gb card if you plan on not having to delete the savefile each time since its likely to push your card into max space used. that game you plan on using. there is likely enough with system management of the sd card itself to likely not be able to hold that game.

im tryig to hold start then turn on power button
but ended up loading to the main home
There was a bug where holding START to launch a payload wouldn't work if you only had one payload in the folder. I thought that bug was fixed but maybe not, or maybe you have an older Luma3DS version. Make sure your Luma3DS is the latest from here https://github.com/LumaTeam/Luma3DS/releases
And if that doesn't help try making a copy of the GodMode9 payload just so you have 2 payloads in the folder, and try again.
ah ye and i also forgot its original name
Ctrl-Z to undo in WIndows. But might be too late now. Where was the file though? Depending on where it was, I might be able to tell you if it was an important file or not, and where to redownload the stuff in the folder to restore it to how it was.

You can use FBI network install. It doesn't store the cia on the SD but installs it directly. You can use Boop to send the file to FBI. https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-boop.455219/
There is a way to install in PC with https://gbatemp.net/threads/custom-...a-nintendo-3ds-sd-card-entirely-on-pc.551496/ which might be what you were referring to? But for just 1 game, it's not worth the trouble setting up. It's only worth it if you plan to install a lot of games since it installs much faster.

If you want to install a title, you need 2 times the space in the SD Card. Thats means if you want to install Pokemon Y (1.7 gigabytes), you need 1.7*2 = 3.4 gigabytes left to install the game. You have to buy a new SD Card or install tiny games.
If you buy a SDXC card, you will have to format it with guiformat.exe to use it with the 3DS (Or format it via godmode9)
