Yeah,Sedna, not sure whether it works on 5.03GEN-C

Basically to hack your motherboard you need to download 5.03GEN-C, unzip to ms0:\PSP\Game folder on your memory stick and while in ChickHEN/MHUSpeed go along to game and click it to enable.

Judging by the fact you have a 16gb memory stick I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you're going to put a LOT of stuff on your PSP. I suggest you install the "Game Categories Plugin" which basically allow you to seperate your games instead of having one huge-ass list. Also download the "Homebrew Sorter GUI" to order them however you want (the PSP's ordering system is absolute balls)
Also since you're using a PHA motherboard I suggest you change from ChickHENR2 to MHUSpeedv3 which is a lot less random in getting to start (though there is an element of it)

What I did was download "Installer/loader", ran that and then GEN-B updater, and finally GEN-C updates.

Wait, what?

When you "hack" a PSP-3000 you really just run an eboot which replaces the firmware files in the RAM with the one's of GEN-C. You just need to run GEN-C not GEN-B then GEN-C

What I did was run "Installer/loader", installing 5.03 GEN-A. I then installed GEN-B, then GEN-C.
Now whenever I run Installer/loader it boots GEN-C.

Ahh, I am inexperienced in Temp CFW so my knowledge is limited. I assumed it was a just the eboot it must install files to the memory stick.

Im pretty sure sedna only works if the psp crashed/froze, not if you manually turn it off.
I tried sedna, and you are right. When the psp boots again its back to the original firmware. Which is a pain in the ass, my psp is a nightmare to get chickHEN or MHUspeed3 to start.

I wasnt sure if it was luck last time when i inserted a UMD right before running the exploit. It turns out that it was. Im back at the start now trying to run the tiff exploit.

This reminds me of a tethered jailbreak on the 3G but almot hard to start.

Makes me feel lucky that my ChickHEN loads like after 2-3 tries.
Max tries was like 20 though, 2 days after I got it.

Sedna works if you use the VSH menu to reboot the PSP though.
So you would always have you psp in sleep mode, and you reboot to clear the ram every so often. That right?
I shutdown via the VSH menu, hoping when it booted again the cfw would have still been loaded, not the case though.
..If only i could get speed3 to start :/
