Hacking I need a idiots guide!

Hi, I need an idiots guide to upgrading my sons r4 card so that he can use the newer games. i've looked at a lot of the posts and i'm just getting my self confused (doesnt take much!!) will someone please take pity on me and point me in the right direction.He's has his card for a while but broke the DS and father christmas bought him a new one and all the games we have downloaded wont work. i will at somepoint buy him the newer card that is needed - probably his birthday in april but would be grateful of using the newer games in the meantime.

You guys are fantastic, my boy now thinks he's got the cleverest mum around!! which is the best card to buy that will play the new games???

best card = CycloDS for all the features , it plays everything perfectly and has , In-game text reader , Slow motion in-games , cheats in games , Real time saving and Real time loading - for saving in-game and not through the built in save feature..

Real time saving (RTS) - explanation - if you are in a game where you can save at .. "bill" and you don't want or can't get to "Bill" so you use the Real time saving and you can get back to the exact same point you saved at.
