I've browsed around, and i don't see anything to my liking. I want something capable of sideshows (or being able to scroll photos quickly), and something that can view most image types, along with gifs. I've used moonshel, and the loading takes too long for my needs.
Any suggestions?

i wonder y? LOL
i think u can view pics with dsorganize? or try the comicbook one (forgot wat it's called)
hah it's not for porn.
I've tried DSo, and it's also pretty slow. I'll look into "the comicbook one".

ComicbookDS.
I don't think any image viewers are capable of GIF.

I think DSO and moonshell can view gif, just non-animated ones.

You might want to consider resizing your images for faster loading on DS.

You could always use moonshell.
Great job at reading the first post.

Simply put, the DS doesn't have the horsepower to do what you want with straight-up standard image files unless they're really small dimension-wise. I'd suggest ComicBookDS. While this does mean you have to pre-convert your images, it allows for some of the best image viewing you can get on the DS. Full zooming, fast panning, quick image scrolling, etc. Give it a shot.

EDIT: DSOrganize can view animated .gif files, but very slowly. It's the only one that can view animations as far as I'm aware.
