Gaming I need a good game to play..

I need a game that has RPG elements but isn't quite an RPG. Preferably an open world game. Graphics aren't a concern.

The only games I found that I played to completion so far are Zelda, Stardew Valley and Punch club.. Everything else I tried I couldn't care enough to get past the hour mark.

Any suggestions?
P.S. I only have 1 rule, no JPRGs.

I did try that but it was too much of an RPG for me if that makes any sense.. And the combat system sucked. I might get back to it if I can't find anything worthwhile.

I know right!! I know this might trigger some fanboys but the switch library kindda sucks! It's my 2nd Nintendo console (First was GBA) and I honestly don't know how they manage to sell so much with that kind of library! I really wish Sony gets back to probable consoles, I remember back in the PSP days it was superglued to my hands.. Or Microsoft decides to finally go for a portable device, those would be sick!

it actually is a stranger combo that works well i f done good ( golf x rpg). And luckily its done nicely in this game.

Hyrule Warriors and Fire Emblem Warriors both have RPG elements. No open world though. If you like Metroidvania games Axiom Verge is worth looking into and Dust: An Elysian Tale will be available in the future.

Just play Sky Force. It's the best shooter seriously and goes for only 10 bucks. I'm still playing the shit out of that game.
You've got upgrades for your ship which you would have to grind for so there's your RPG element.
