Gaming I have a key

Well, I was in Wal-mart in the computer game section. I was looking at games and I saw the game Wanted. I graved it and it was the last game in it's slot. I looked behind it and guess what I saw. An open CS:S box. I graved it and saw that the game disks were gone but the guy was stupid and left the CD-key in the case. I decided to take it (flame all you want, you would do the same thing) so now I'm in front of my computer with a CD-Key for CSS.

I went on my steam and clicked on "activate steam product" button and I put in the code. After that it asked me for a disk. What do I do now? Of course I don't have the disks. WHAT CAN I DO? You think I can mount an ISO of the game and when it asks me it would take it? I need an answer.

P.S: I'm not asking for a torrent or a torrent site, I just want to know if putting an ISO is possible or if there is an other way of doing this. If this is somehow agenced the rule, please close this thread down.

You should not need the disk it should have just started downloading. At least that's what my friend did when he bought CSS from Walmart.

You can only play on pirated severs if you pirated that means no protection from cheaters/hackers and alot less severs.

I know but I only go to like 4 servers. A t2bong, a MX, a deathmatch, and a gungame server. Ya but there's always votebans and sometimes there are good admins. Back to subject, can I use an ISO as the disk?

It should but it should be 2 disks because that's what came in the case of my friend's case.

if your talking about counter strike source then mounting an iso works because thats how i installed mine

You only need the disk once, and it's for the key activation. An ISO should do the trick, as the retail CD/DVD is just a copy to speed up the installation by just getting the updates since the initial release on the CD/DVD.

Once the CD-key is tied to your account, you can redownload it at anytime without have to input any key or CD/DVD. Simply login under the account you activated it.

OMG I can't find the ISO. Google is not my friend. It takes me to one website but there are no seeders. T_T oh well, I'll just keep trying.

edit 2: You know what. I'm going to DL the iso when I go to sleep. Right now, I'm going to play my 'aaarrrrr'ed copy of CSS
