Anyway, I'm fifteen and my mate texted me and asked if I wanted to go out and drink some alcohol with him and a few others, the plan was to stay at his house but his mum said I couldn't stay when I got there (at this point I was completely pissed) so I cycled home and when I got home my dad answered the door and said that he could smell alcohol on me and I admitted I got drunk on vodka and beer etc. Anyway now he's mega pissed off at me and won't talk to me or anything and won't let me go out with mates.

So I need some advice as to how to solve my problem, any help will do thnx in advance

Advice? Quit being an idiot. Or you could, you know, "man up." If you're willing to break the law, as most here seem to be, you should be capable of dealing with the consequences, be it with your rightfully pissed off dad, or cops.

Solution: Stop getting drunk illegally. Go to Berlin or Denmark for such matters (although the limit IS 16 there).

For the record, I myself have never gotten hammered, although I have gotten buzzed under LEGAL and controlled circumstances. But this is likely due to my high tolerance of alcohol, and due to an extended drinking culture I've been massively guided over by my family.

My point is: Don't go out and "GET WAEST'D!!!111~~ONE". That's for silly tweens and shit (assuming you aren't one here). Rather, wait anywhere between 1-3 years, and eventually, even your parents won't be able to deny that there's a certain culture that accompanies beverage, and it is mostly an unavoidable one for adults. Rather than drinking, LEARN to drink.

Wait.

He won't stay mad forever. Play with your computer in the meantime. Write some homebrew or something.

If you realize it was stupid, tell him so. It won't auto calm him down, but it will help. And if you're sincere, assure him it won't happen again, (unless it will, then this will just piss him off more.)

I agree with geminisama, I'm not going to say "don't drink" (I've done it at your age and I'm currently a uni student...) but if you are going to drink, be smart about it. You obviously didn't want him to know so if you are going to do it go about it in a more "responsible" way - i.e. don't drink so much that you're completely off your head, even if you know/think that you're not returning home. There's also the health risks associated with drinking including your physical health and the avoidance of doing some dangerous and/or stupid.

Again I don't see the point in telling you not to drink, certainly not as I'm pretty much a stranger to you but as geminisama said if you're going to drink like a man can, you'll also have to man up and take your punishment.

- edit -

This sounds like something that just happened, I suggest relaxing and sobering up for a while and apologising before sleeping if he hasn't appeared. Otherwise wait until the following day to talk (apologize) and say that you won't do it again (going out and drinking at your age, without his permission and making him feel ashamed of you as a father). This is what I'd think he'd want you to say/do. Whether you actually stick to that is up to you.

he probably plans to have a stern talk with you. ATM he is thinking of what to say(trust me i've had siblings who did this). me my dad let drink at 16 as long as it was in the house and controlled(due to this freedom alcohol doesn't appeal to me that much).

before it's taken the wrong way im not bragging.

Yeah, I'm the same. My older brother (21) is pretty much an alcoholic, and has done his share of drugs in the past, and our parents just let us make our decisions.

Because of that freedom, I've been sober my entire life.

Likewise, although the age was somewhere around 13 I think? But even then all I could muster were a quarter of a cup or something.

I hate drinking, especially beer. All that useless calories for nothing. Couple that with liver cancer, liver failure, and a beer belly I've tried to avoid drinking.

But back on topic, I've learnt that you always have to let the other party cool down first. So after a few days, go have a talk to him. Tell him you feel stupid and you're sorry. It'll work out

It seems as though if your parents don't want/instruct you not to drink/do drugs, you do it, but if they don't care, you don't?

Why would you do this just to disobey your parents?

..In response to the OP, tell your dad you're sorry, tell him it was stupid & you won't ever do it again (& actually don't do it again), he'll calm down in a few days.

Your dad shoulda locked you outside.

But anyways, sincerely apologize and just wait, like everyone else said.

That's the problem!! Nowadays it's like this "kids do this kids do that so I want to be cool like them and try it out". Pfft. Kid, my only advice to you is, live a life of your OWN, not follow footsteps of other kids. Alcohol, Beer & even Smoking (though the latter is off-topic) feel good at first, but when they damage you, they damage you ALOT and your chances of survival diminish. I don't get why people want to risk their lives and slowly kill themselves with this kind of shit. If you wanna die just jump down a cliff and R.I.P.

If I were your dad I'd lock you up and never let you meet your mates for a good 3-4 months. That'd teach you. But since I'm not, my only serious advice would be to apologize to him, say that you won't ever do it again and it was a stupid thing to do from your part. (even though I'm 500% certain you will when you are of legal age)

Alcohol damages your organs, especially when they aren't fully developed, like they are when you're 15. In fact, your organs don't fully develop until you're 19, and you probably won't have the maturity to drink like an adult until you're 21, which is why parents forbid their children from drinking. It isn't because it's so awesome they want it for themselves.

Another thing, if you are pressured into drinking, don't mix your fucking drinks.
