Homebrew I got a question.

Would it be possible to make an unofficial server to re-open the Wii Shop Channel?

Now, I do know homebrew dev like this is probably impossible, and probably useless since WAD archives exist, but I would love to have it back. I only ever had 3 things bought, and they're all VC. So I really wanna know, and there is a lot of WiiWare that I've never tried. If it is impossible, or nobody will do it, I understand. But having the channel back would probably make some people (including myself) happy. I don't have a lot of technical know-how in a lot of categories, including homebrew dev, but I feel like it wouldn't be impossible. And I wanna support a bunch of WiiWare devs, but can't, at least through WiiWare. And even my own parents miss the Shop Channel, since they wanted more VC and they found out it shut down like a month earlier.

In conclusion, I feel like it wouldn't be impossible, but people wouldn't really do it, since WiiWare and VC archives exist. But even then, maybe someone actually would do it if possible.

I don't know, I'm very interesting of reverse engineering the wii shop part, but I don't know if I'm capable x)
