Exactly why I bought it, I'm set for the future, however it's now up to 6GB of RAM

Yes
It can. Very well. My videocard only supports everything on high setting with 8x antialiasing, at max res on a 22" screen, and runs smooth.

OS X Leopard does use multiple cores if they're available.

I'm guessing you didn't cheap out. You did buy Applecare, right? I usually let about 6-9 months lapse before I purchase Applecare since it covers from the time of purchase of the Applecare and not when you bought your hardware.

I think Cocoa apps just need to be recompiled.

I think multiple core are already worth it even if it's just your OS using them.

The computer does a 2 hour DVD to play on mah PS3 over the media server in less than 5 minutes. And yeah I'll be doing not only 3D rendering, but I do HD Video Encoding as well and use Final Cut Pro and Aperture a lot for the professional videography and photography. You need a fast machine to be able to process HD video from an HD videocamera.

I also use it as my development environment, I'll be doing some web and cocoa development with my dad and release some software from our company. Heck I even moved the development environment and code for Rominator over to it, only 'cause it compiles the application in a couple seconds

Man, if i could get 2500$ for my old dusty G5...
My G5 has only been upgraded once, and only the ram was pushed up from 512 to 1GB. I dont have the isight/apple remote version. Mine is power pc. Can i go to ur house to encode my videos?

I mean, I love the small, sleek build, built-in webcam and some of the neat software it comes with - but they're just not for me.
A bit of a waste of money. I dearly regret getting one, as I've operated on Windows OS my entire life and converting to the Mac OS isn't so easy. Mac ain't for everybody!

They've had right mouse buttons since 2001

I never liked Apple's mice before then because of the 1 button approach; it had to be 2 buttons with a scroll wheel... Mind you I'm on a Logitech MX Revolution now which I prefer any day over Apple's new mice. Mighty Mouse is really crappy, the buttons are indistinguishable, the scroll ball is too tiny, and it's so unergonomic it's painful.
