WirelessRouter/Laptop

Ok well i have a wireless router in my house which is accesible to everyone. (my dad set it up and he doesnt know much about computers) So there is no password and anyone could go on/ But my dads laptop is special. When i try to connect wirelessly it doesnt work. So after trying and trying i gave up. Then a few days ago my cousin tried to fix it.(person who prob knows most about ocmputers in my family) And he found out that the one for the laptop had a password. So after trying things out we couldnt find it and he had to leave. So he told me this
"Find your ip adress of you wireless router then eneter it into your browser."
So i did as he said. But when i put it in theres a thing that asks for a username and password. And i dont have any idea whats the username and password.

Recently i have been getting into making videos. And i found an awesome software to make intros. Adobe after effects. So i went on the website to see the price at students price. It was 360 some thing dollars. So i was like thats alot. I checked regualr price. 999.99$. My dad wouldnt buy me that so i went to youtube find a way to get it for free. I found a way and there wasnt any comments on how the didnt get it to work. So i tired it out. But i had a dilema. My computer doesnt have enough ram. So i tried it on my dads laptop (one i was talking about earlier) Right away when i start it up it says (Not Responding.)
So i dont know how to make it work. I tired it on my computer but i dont have anything to start it up(like i cant find it) So now i am just unistalling it until i can get an answer

with your wireless. if you havent changed any settings after buying it. the default user/pw should be admin/admin.

I tried admin admin on both things that required a password
the things where the password for the laptop yo use the router. It asked for a 8letter password. And the one to check my ip adress it said something like
"401 not authorized" or something like that

what type of router is it and model?

there are usually databases online which tell you the default username and passwords for routers

Typing the router's IP address into your browser is to let you access the router's settings menu.

No that isn't the model number. There should be a sticker on the router with it written on. Once you've got that, there's a list of some default passwords here.

If you wanted a 30 day trial, you could get it from Adobe's website, though it'd require an account, so I suppose that would be annoying. It'd probably be better than getting it from some random RAR off of Megaupload/Youtube if you just want a trial. Afterwards, you can just download a crack/keygen without having to torrent an entire install.

Most websites just link to this page rather than host it themselves so I haven't found a separate link aside from Adobe's website.

Keep in mind that they're only TRIALS, but like I said, you could get a crack as those have worked on the trials, which are just full installs not unlocked.

TheWingless i already have the crack just adobe aftereffects itself doesnt wnana load up on my desktop (sadly it is old and i only have around 500something mb of ram) and theres nto enough space on my dads laptop (need around 2.5gb 1.17gb left)
