As far as I heard, people generally dump these and release them so that others can disassemble them and figure out how the hardware works in order to usually write code specific to manipulate hardware functions using the device. Otherwise one could possibly also use it in reverse engineering in order to develop their own flash cartridge device. Otherwise, for the general public, these dumps are generally not useable.

Why would you want to do that? They're already available (most of them).
You mean for like save purposes or something like that?

I say the more people we have capable of dumping the games, the better. Maybe then we would have Glory Days 2 and Raptor would shut-up about it already. LOL.

er there are plenty of people online who are more than capable of dumping games, but those people bought the hardware to sit on their ass and wait for it to be dumped by someone else, that is why you have a lot of people hiding the fact that they have an M3 CF and see the game in the store but won't do anything about it.

I saw this happen clear back in the GBC days too, where bung put out the MGD3 so then you had all these people with backup units but still "couldn't" dump games for everyone else. So at first there was a handful of people dumping with homebrew and really old EMS backup devices, then LITERALLY thousands of people had MGD3 and still wouldn't contribute and to top it off there were a lot of scene members bugging the shit out of other groups to dump stuff and then they'd go around and make sure that they'd race games they were supposedly allowing other groups to dump on their own, so it was just a waste of money. Ahh I'm glad GBC days are long gone, good riddance.

If your not very tech savy and patient, it will be im possible to set up.
Maybe ill write a guide!
