I don't understand the reunion thing

I heard theres some sort of "Christmas special" harry potter thingy.

What is it though? is it like a short Harry potter film ? there's going to be a brand new episode/story?
or is it just the actors getting together for a talk show ?

if it's the latter I don't see what the big deal is? whats so important about the 3 kids reuniting for a talk?

It is an interview style thing, not just the three, almost all of the actors and what they're doing now, and them revisiting old scenes and shooting locations, etc. May not be your thing like it isn't mine, but there is an actual movie called Fantastic Beasts 3, it definitely has a ton of continuity (or rather backwards continuity) with the Harry Potter stories of Dumbledore and the Dark Arts.

yeah I see, well I was never a big fan of the films in the first place.
I did watch them because I loved the books and I hoped the films would be as good, but it wasn't the case far from it.

The Fantastic Beasts series isn't too bad, good entertainment, we'll see how the 3rd one turns out.

Mads Mikkelsen is actually a great choice, he looks the part and also has much more demeanor. I was skeptical of the actor change but when I saw the new trailer, I know he's gonna be sick.
