Your config seems ok(just merge the two kernels), deleting id.dat is pointless, it will never fix psn problems...
There is something else.

Post your henkaku settings, also does henkaku.suprx exists?
I've applied the update blocker as suggested by godreborn and merged the kernel lines, PSN still wants update. Yes, both henkaku.suprx and henkaku.skprx exist, and my Henkaku settings are:
Enable PSN Spoofing - check
Enable Unsafe Homebrew - check
Enable Version Spoofing - check
Spoofed Version - 3.73
I searched in the Discord server and saw that I wasn't the only one who had this problem and never found a solution; I get the feeling it won't be an easy fix.

The update blocker has no effect on this.

Is your config in ur0? If yes and a config in ux0 exists, try to delete that.

If you see that message, henkaku is not applying the spoof correctly.
It is fixable, you only need to find what is breaking henkaku.

You may also try with a fresh install, delete your config and let taihen create a new one.

No plugins, no itls, no mods, no dns

Create a new clean connection, then apply the spoof.

actually, the id.dat contains firmware version. if you're spoofed, it will show the spoofed version under system software. it will remain the same until the id.dat is deleted. the recreated version will tell you if spoofing is working.

The id.dat has nothing to do with this, henkaku can write the new fw version and still be broken.

In no way a write to the id.dat tells you the spoof if fully working.

It is probably missing the passphrase, it is not patched or something else, hence psn complains.

Usually an invalid config, missing henkaku entry or bad plugin / settings

No config in ux0; not in my SD card nor the system storage. I deleted all my wifi networks, deleted the config from ur0, and rebooted; now there's no Henkaku running at all, it didn't remake the config, and the h-encore app only runs the Bitter Smile game. System information reports the firmware being 3.73 somehow, but PSN still wants an update. Should I try remaking a minimal config in order to get Henkaku running?

no henkaku settings? that's the henkaku.suprx. if you have henkaku settings, have it recreate the config.txt or rebuild your database. that should also cause it to be recreated.

You mean memecore? Weren t you on 3.60 enso?
Reinstall taihen and delete the ux0 taihen stuff, it will generate the config.
Then enable spoof settings and reboot

I usually use the official team henkaku installer for taihen, the webkit exploit.

I forgot to mention, I downgraded from 3.61 using Modoru. I'm not able to use the Henkaku web installer because it thinks I'm on 3.73.

Mmmhh, well i m not there so i can t really see what happens so maybe it is better to start from scratch so we are sure everything is as it should be.

Reinstall the 3.60 fw with qcma from recovery, this will delete enso and henkaku.

Before that, unlink your mem card from henkaku settings and delete tai config or better use a clean memory.

Install henkaku from official link, enso is not needed yet, just make sure everything works

It works! Actually all that needed to be done was to generate completely new Henkaku settings and files; once I moved them out of the tai folder and rebooted - completely disabling Henkaku in the process - I was able to do a fresh install of the browser exploit, then it let me onto PSN. Take note, OP, and thank you lucks.

Hi guys, sorry for my late update, it's been a chaotic weekend, first of all, thank you to all of you that tried to help, the issue was fixed the sunday, my problem was config.txt/plugins related, I created a new config.txt and deleted some plugins and now I can log to PSN without issues, I think that the problematic plugin was PSP2-batteryfixer, I investigated and it seems that plugin generated problems in other Vitas, anyway here is my new config.txt

# This file is used as an alternative if ux0:tai/config.txt is not found.
# For users plugins, you must refresh taiHEN from HENkaku Settings for
# changes to take place.
# For kernel plugins, you must reboot for changes to take place.
# henkaku.skprx is hard-coded to load and is not listed here
# main is a special titleid for SceShell
ur0:tai/henkaku.suprx
*NPXS10015
# this is for modifying the version string
ur0:tai/henkaku.suprx
*NPXS10016
# this is for modifying the version string in settings widget
ur0:tai/henkaku.suprx
*KERNEL
ur0:tai/nonpdrm.skprx
ur0:tai/repatch.skprx
ur0:tai/0syscall6.skprx
*main
ur0:tai/henkaku.suprx
ur0:tai/shellbat.suprx

Thanks to everyone that tried to help me, especially lucks

The first henkaku.suprx has no id, you can remove that
