Hardware i cannot access hbmenu for some unknown reason

Then as @baddass1979 stated a fresh install might be required... tried deleting the hbmenu NRO and grabbing the latest?
I'd try replacing the `hbmenu.nro` file from your `Switch` folder with the latest one from the atmosphere git. It sounds like it may have been corrupted somehow.
You are using a modified Atmosphere?
