And you won't say what you did to fix it?thanks to everyone who helped i already fix my switch i used rcm loader.. sorry again for my post with little info. thanks
all of them do that, they don't even know how they fixed. And you won't say what you did to fix it?
What's your issue?Well that sucks, I’ve been slaving away trying to get mine working and am at a loss, and this guy barely gave anyone information?!!
Well, I usually don't help unless the person asking helps to being helped.all of them do that, they don't even know how they fixed.
I bought a Nintendo switch online, sold as is for parts. I got it, noticed it was charging and such, and was successful getting into hekate (v.5.1.1?). I was soooo excited! But alas, launching sysnand gave me the switch boot screen freeze. I have tried using earlier payloads of atmosphere down to 8.9, the same thing happens. I tried Nevercholt Tech’s tutorial to remove custom firmware without the NAND backup, since I don’t have an original backup. That is about as far as I have gotten. I have tried turning autorcm off and then just using a jig to get to hekate. But so far, hekate is all that is functioning. I did swap an sd card from the normal 32GB to an 128GB FAT32, because doing the backups didn’t have enough space on the 32GB card. What's your issue?
did you get rawnand.bin,boot0/1, sysnand backups ?I bought a Nintendo switch online, sold as is for parts. you right!!!Well, I usually don't help unless the person asking helps to being helped.
did you get rawnand.bin,boot0/1, sysnand backups ?
I bought it used, so no, I do not have those backups from before CFW loads. I just got a 128GB card into last night, so I will be doing backups tonight, in case something happens. Is there a way to get information from those backups? or a way to manipulate them to function properly?
Roger, Dodger! I'll do that when I get home. I'll get back to you tomorrow. I'm on eastern standard time.backup all of them first, and then we move to the next step.Do not do anything else before you get them.
after you got them, download hasdiskmount, run as administartor, file/open file/select rawnand.bin and press open.Roger, Dodger!
If the Switch was being sold as is for parts, it might be unrecoverable. Do you know what was done to brick it?I bought a Nintendo switch online, sold as is for parts. DONT DO ANYTHING ELSE AND TAKE A PC SCREEN CAPTURE OF HACDISKMOUNT WINDOW.

thats a negative. hardware is good. didn't even look like someone had done any home soldering on it. I am a professional solderer, so I can tell new solder vs. original, most of the time. Clean as a whistle. The serial number starts with XAW so I think that the hardware is pre-mariko as well. I had bought thinking it would need a hardware fix, which is easy for me, I have already fixed APU and connector problems. Software though, is not in my comfort zone. Way back when I hacked my PSP-1001 it took me hours because i was so scared of messing something up. When software is involved, I go to the digitally minded! If the Switch was being sold as is for parts, it might be unrecoverable. Do you know what was done to brick it?
We cant help you if you following somebody else guide, that's why you guys never learn.Either you dont answer questions or do opposite.Okay, that I have from NeverCholt's tutorial. The .exe, not the photo. I have a question. I made a biskey text file with supposed keys in it. the Tkey, and two other large numbers. When I loaded up hacdiskmount to punch them into the crypto and the other, the program already had two pre-generated keys in them. I copy and pasted them into my txt file just for safe keeping, and punched in the biskeys i had already gotten from the .bin file. They came up red instead of the Green Entropy 7,xxxx alert. Is this really bad?

yeah sorry, i meant that i didnt know what was done to it previous my ownershipI'm saying it could be an unrecoverable software brick.
Sorry, I made the assumption that everyone was using most of the same Hack Tools. TegraRCMSmash, Hacdiskmount, and biskeydump.bin, along with a couple others. I was under the assumption that people making the in-depth tutorials knew how these program functioned and might even know what any errors could mean. I've come to GBATemp first, and when I saw other tutorials that might help, I also tried them. first-timer here. Anyways, I'll get back to you tomorrow after I do the back ups and that last little bit with hacdiskmount, and post a screenshot. I appreciate the help. If nothing good come of this, at least I can remove the MOBO and eMMC and swap in my functioning ones into the unbroken shell and don't have to try and rebuild another one.We cant help you if you following somebody else guide, that's why you guys never learn.Either you dont answer questions or do opposite.
You cannot assume you're using the same software, particularly if you got it from some other tutorial's pack. For example, if there were already keys in HacDiskMount that you didn't put there, those might be somebody else's keys.Sorry, I made the assumption that everyone was using most of the same Hack Tools.
