People like me that preordered it online won't get it for a while, since it won't even be shipped out until the release date, and after that it'll be days until it gets to us, so getting a copy to play a bit earlier (especially with the ability to transfer saves) is more exciting than waiting in line at a shop, since you have more people to talk to.
