Hacking Hykem's 5.5 iosu Exploit

I'm very patient, since I can self host my own exploit on 5.3.2 with a wifi SD card. I'm on a very comfy relaxing ride until IOSU shows up and development on homebrew is up there.
I just worry about my 5.5.0 friends who used to play games online, especially Smash Bros. With Corrin and Bayonetta coming out, god knows how long they can wait before they update to 5.5.1. That's just what they'll have to do, but if 5.5.2 comes out and more game updates arrive, what then lol

Oh so emunand will be possible, before IOSU is fully taken advantage of? I'd think emunand is something we use WITH IOSU. I guess when Hykem said there won't be anything we can do with IOSU for a while, he means we'll have emunand but no homebrew to use. Am I right?

Report: I had problems with vWii because I deleted IOS58 and hackmii didnt work. So I updated to 5.5.1 to fix this issue and it works now.

Report: I had problems with vWii because I deleted IOS58 and hackmii didnt work. So I updated to 5.5.1 to fix this issue and it works now.

So 5.5.1 update contains vWii IOS?

Is there a list of files altered per update anywhere?

yep same here, i am on 5.5.0 atm. hmm i guess i will have to update my system fw. in order to be able to update SSB when the update comes in feb 3rd yep?

I love Hykem's attitude, he's doing what he does not for the fuckers in this thread who only care about stealing games and as soon as possible, but because he actually enjoys the work he does and the skill it takes.
