Creadiar already said that there is no such thing on 5.5.1 like 3 weeks ago.Hello everybody for better or worse I joined gbatemp to comment in this thread!
My question is this: On the 3DS, the browser prevents you from even using it if a system update is available. I believe it performs this check by grabbing the latest system browser version from this URL: https://cbvc.cdn.nintendo.net/CTR/1/USA (source). Do we have any knowledge of a similar check yet being in place on the Wii U anywhere?
The only reason I bring this up here is: such a check doesn't appear to exist on 5.5.0, given that the Internet browser can still be used even with 5.5.1 out. According to this page the browser was changed in 5.5.1 outside of just the exploit patches in mvplayer.rpl. So is there been any confirmation that such a check wasn't slipped into the 5.5.1 update?

so should I update then ?Jesus, what happened? (er...don't answer that, I can read)
Dev bashing, warez on you-know-where...more suspensions, [should I] update debates...
I'd hate to be associated with most of you if I didn't appreciate the lovable anarchy that is GBAtemp.net. I hope I don't get this bad, but please feel free to tear me apart if I start whining too.
BTW Wii U has no chance of more than a sub-par PS2 emu. It's CPU is the biggest problem, so who here has l33t GPGPU techs?

Thanks, this is the info I was looking for. Do you have where he said this?Creadiar already said that there is no such thing on 5.5.1 like 3 weeks ago.

my xbox 1 (not One) has a 1ghz P3 upgrade. We should now speculate for 20 pages how IOSU will allow for Xeon Processors and Tesla Graffux.Inb4 GTX 980 Ti soldered to the Wii U motherboard.

Maybe, we could even change the Wii U's hard disk to an SSD or m.2 SSD! The possibilities are endless!my xbox 1 (not One) has a 1ghz P3 upgrade. We should now speculate for 20 pages how IOSU will allow for Xeon Processors and Tesla Graffux.
Once this is done we can strap gamepad to face and emulate Oculus Rift!Maybe, we could even change the Wii U's hard disk to an SSD or m.2 SSD! The possibilities are endless!
It's pretty old, I searched it right now and his profile it's private, so I can't really give you a link of the original post. Thanks, this is the info I was looking for. Do you have where he said this?

I knew the Wii U couldn't emulate the 486. 486>POWERPC, and power pc is RISC, and apple A9X is also risc, so 486>Ipad Pro*facepalm*
