THat took years and years tho, but good luck waitign half a decade for it to be playable, when you can enjoy the games now.

I do enjoy my wii u games, I have 43 of them on disc (44 if you include the one in the post)

FYI Dolphin wii support came in July 13 2008, by feb 2009 it could run the wii system menu, by april 2009 it could play all commercial wii and gamecube games, with some bugs. By October 2009 it could play games damn good. In the end of its dev cycle in June 2011 it was a beast that ran it all and is the same version we use now. There have been a few bugfixes and legacy removal since but from this Ive no idea where you got half a decade from.

Anyone here get the mariokart DLC ? I have both packs but i have to go online with the wii and enter the codes to download them. does anyone know if this will update my firmware? i really wanna use my dlc... but i dont wanna update the fw obviously. i cant seem to find an answer on google

it will update your firmware, dont use them yet, wait for IOSU.

IOSU will be available before long, Hykem is going through an obfuscation process to fool ninty and make life hard for them, once done we have the keys to all.

I'm a PC Gamer, and personally, I think the 90% of those games suck. The exclusives are the worst benefit of being a PC Gamer.
The exclusives of the consoles are way better than ours. Luckly I have all the consoles of this generation, so I don't participate in that lame war.

I have that saved on my phone for pc doubters, but even so, I feel that Nintendo's games have the most replayability compared to the half finished releases on the PC. Unfortunately most developers don't try to finish their game before releasing it. Nintendo on the other hand tends to deliver.

I disagree, but then I like strategy games, simulators, MMORPGs, arena shooters, CRPGs, action RPGs, text adventures, and visual novels, and those tend to have more presence on PC. But I don't think anyone should be opposed to playing on a console if it has exclusives they like, it's just a matter of whether you're willing to spend the money for it.

In case you were afraid to deduce it from the screen I posted, yes, the hack works up to 5.5.1. However, I strongly recommend everyone to start blocking updates. That's why I announced I was working on IOSU in the first place, to raise awareness.

PC Gaming is not too bad at this point. Most notable games get a PC release, but as for console exclusives...well, we have emulators for now, but that only goes up to the PS2 and the Wii. Hopefully RPCS3 makes rapid strides though! Ooh, guess who developed RPCS3 in the first place? None other than Hykem himself!

PS2 emulation is still kind of sketchy though. Certain games are still unplayable (by my standards). VP2:Silmeria and Champions of Norrath fall into that category.

For IOSU exploit, Hykem has said it is, but I'd rather not update so I won't lose any potential entry points.
