Hey leo, thanks so much for the video! The only thing I didn't see in there was you starting up a GBA game. Does the game have to copy over before it can run or can it run straight from the memory you write it to?

I haven't run any GBA games yet - mostly because I haven't had time, and partly because I'm not a big GBA player.

I'll give it a go when I get home and put it on the web.

What do you mean?

I ask HopeBuy.com if I can put G6 Lite Chinese version language to English and they answered:

I think you didn't understand "Chinese" version well.   Â
  This is the lowdown: it seems the CD and G6 unit is flashed with a dual English/Chinese firmware, but it is slightly outdated, and if you try to put on the English 4.0a it says to install an English version firmware which doesn't make sense and it won't boot! If you install the Chinese 4.0a it works, but it is Chinese only.
  So you can't do as you think.

Ok, I checked m3-forum.com and there's a couple of threads about this very subject.

G6 lite loader can be changed to english by installing the english loader.

In another thread he suggests that if the problem that hopebuy brings up arises that you should format and then install the english firmware.

The guy says basically the same thing. When you get it format it and then install the english firmware. All should be well after that.

The G6 Team send me this mail:

Sorry , due to your G6 lite is chinese version .
It is no way to change the language by the software or loader .
We only have released the chinese version of G6 Lite now .
And we have already informed the resellers .It is the chinese version
Please contact your reseller directly .

well....I'd like to point out that as far as I know, my G6 Lite is an english version - everything is in english except the PDA function. am I unique?

The same with mine, but i know i have the "trial/evaluation" version of the G6L because of the 3 symbols in bold on the box. I'm willing to bet yours has the same symbols
