I noticed that too. Though I've beaten the average, I'm curious how that'll work if the average increases above what I've payed. Will it check whether I was above it during purchase, or does the new average count?

I'm not entirely sure that's new, I thought it was always like that? BTA and you get the extra games too, if you don't BTA you don't get the extra games.

And as long as you beat the average at sometime in the bundle its existence, you will get the extras (if they come).

I sadly already have 4 of the games in this bundle, so I won't buy it. Makes me a bit sad to have bought them earlier, but okay. Great bundle, and finally INDIE again!

They did the exact same previously, they just didn't spell it out. What matters is that you paid above average when purchasing, you won't be forced to pay again just because the average has gone up.

You can PM me the key and I'll use it... I assume Steam will just say you already have this product on steam. You can either add it as a gift (I think) or else just hang on to the code/login to your Humble Bundle to see the redemption code whenever you want to.

Steam will not provide extra giftable copies of games you already own.

And it used the key. I haven't run into this problem before because the HB has had that text below the keys as long as I can remember so I always check my library before adding keys, but I messed up this time.

Like I said, that shouldn't happen. I've also tried adding keys to games that I've owned in the past and the key remained perfectly usable after the failed attempt. I think you should contact Humble Bundle's support about this to get it sorted.

Wait wait, I think I know what's up. I failed to copy the FTL key (generated, but CTRL+C did not go through), and what I tried to re-use by mistake and had the friend test (thinking it was FTL as you can see in the chat) was the Fez key. Just tried what I posted on page 1 and Steam confirms it's Fez and was already in my inventory.

Whoops!
