Humble Indie Bundle #2

Can somebody confirm if my pc can run braid, i dont think it can, but people are saying it could:

WindowsXP
Intel Celeron
CPU 3.2GHz
1gb RAM
ATI Radeon X1650 PRO

On the videocard box, this is what it says:

"X1650 PRO 512mb GDDR2 128-bit"

It should be able to, but if you're still in doubt there's a demo on Steam you can try.

I am NOT getting steam.

So Braid runs beautifully [the demo] on my pc, now if only I can find someone to gift it to me, or if I can find some cash [which will be damn near impossible]

Feel terrible that I can't donate at least a dollar, but by the time money gets into my paypal, this will be long over :/

Are you using the Firefox 4 beta by any chance? It's a known issue that's being worked on. It should work in any other browser.

I've tried it in Firefox, IE and Opera, I've tried all the payment options. Nothing works.

paypal worked no problem for me, trailed by an instant e-mail response. this happened about 5 mins ago. i figured there was a min $ amount ended up paying a dollar..

Braid is beautiful. Cortex Command sucks. Machinarium is great [point and click], Osmos is another beautiful Zen like game, I never tried the last game.

This is an amazing idea. Last year they raised around $330,000, this year, in the first day, they're already above $450,000.

It wasn't last year, it was this past May I believe, and they raised more than $330,000. That was just the portion that went to the charities. I'd estimate around 1/3rd of the current bundle's proceeds are going to the charities. Still, that's pretty impressive for the first day of this event. I hope they top last bundle's record and decide to release a 3rd bundle in a few months.

I sent an email to their contact email asking about Steam support and received the following response:
"The games are not available on Steam at this moment. We have contacted Steam and while we don't have any news yet, we are optimistic because it worked out last time."

If they do do it again in a few months, I hope they keep the games something on the low level. I mean like, games that don't require a strong computer. I don't have the best computer, and I don't want full fledge games y'know? Just something like what this bundle offered. Something I can play for a few minutes or so to take a break.
