Hacking Hulu Update

I need a push, or a shove, in the right direction of how to update my wii without bricking it. I need hulu and netflix to update!

I hate to sound dumb, but do you mind to elaborate. My brother hacked my wii and as of now I have no clue what any off the stuff on this site talks of.

First let's check if you have a preloader installed.

1. Hold down the Power button to fully turn off the Wii (light will be red)
2. Hold down Reset, then Power, to turn on the Wii while holding Power & Reset

Does it load into anything other than the "Health and Safety Warning" screen?

By pressing reset nothing will happen to my wiI right? Right now the only thing that pops ip is the health page but ive never held reset on it.
