Ordered r4i gold 3ds rts from above on sunday 23/06 after stupidly updating my 3ds xl, luckily the new firmware was released on the same day. I received my cart today fri 28/06 expecting to do the upgrade and the cutting but i thought i would just try it and to my suprise it worked direct from the box! I opened up the cart and can still see the line that needs cutting intact!? Anyway not gonna mess around with it lol. Just a quick note i did the new update today and all is still well. Happy gaming everyone.

I will certainly try a bit later mate. Before the game boots? On the 3ds menu do you mean? it says Konami Digital Entertainment with a spinning rom with like upside down red Q and two yellow digits, and a pic of a girl? lol. I will try for pics later but will probably need guidance lol.
