Yo, I go by Rob. I've used this forum in the past to answer questions, but I just got around to making an account so I figured I would at least post an intro. Some of the things I'm passionate about are music, runescape, and Super Smash Bros. Melee for the Nintendo Gamecube. For music taste my favourite artists are Daft Punk and Gorillaz, but I try to listen to as much music as I can get my hands on and enjoy most genres. My main interests in these forums are in learning to extract music/soundfonts, 3ds/wii homebrew, and gamecube/gba/dmg modding. If anyone else here is into Melee and wanted to play some games that would be pretty cool too. Hope to see y'all in the future.

You won't be bored; there's something for everyone. I can see you're interested in all consoles a bit, but surely you have some preferences (GameCube?).
I'm into melee, but in real life, especially when I was younger...hehehe. I'm always looking for a sparing partner to practice my Wing Chun...

I was excited to get my very own Nikokaro response lmao. I'm a gamer and I mostly just play PC nowadays, which is why I'm not interested in consoles(from nintendo) that come after the Wii. I have a really soft spot for the graphics and music of my childhood and there really is no preference (I forgot the ps1/2 and n64 on my original list but I'm mostly interested in data extraction and not modding with those), but if I had to choose a favourite it would be the gamecube because ssbm is a big part of my life. I'm not sure how people mod their gamecubes or wiis here but my wii is just a glorified melee machine that also plays dokapon kingdom when we have enough people. Give me a few years to learn a martial art, maybe I'll take you up on the offer.

lol same, i consider myself to have mastered that flute

honestly i love all music, i've kind of think i'm in a musical golden age personally where i can find beauty in most things. anyway here's my trip hop recommendation

    @TwoSpikedHands, I'll preface this with the fact that I know nothing about the game, but, I think it depends on what your goals are. Are you trying to make a definitive version of the game? You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one ;)

I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it!
