Hacking How/When will you hack your switch for the first time??

The second someone posts a video on how to use this jig I bought, is the very same second I will "hack" my Switch.

Haven’t yet done any hacks for the switch, plan to once atmosphere is formally released most likely. Hoping it’ll be a permanent solution where we don’t have to keep manually entering RCM mode every (re)boot.
At that point I’ll get a 256gb micro SD to be future proof for a while, wait out the substantial homebrew of my liking, that being (gamecube) emulation and of the like, expanding the functionality of my switch.

I think I'll wait until the CFW drops and let a few early adopters try it out first.

Not sure if I'm gonna hack my Switch at all.
So far I've hacked nearly nearly every console I've owned.
I've noticed that when piracy becomes available I downloaded lots of games but instead of playing more I actually play less.

I really enjoyed the xbox (classic) and the PS3 hacking and I think I loved the hacking more then then games I gained through it.
With the Switch I'm really loving the games atm.

This may change.


For now the earliest I'll hack my Switch is when a limited edition switch comes that I really want or a Switch 2.0 comes.
Then I'll transfer everything to the new one and use the old one for hacking.

What I'd actually be interested in - now that you've gotten all kinds of different answers imaginable, and everyone feels better, because he/she could voice what they would do, without knowing any of the specifics of the upcoming releases - has this helped you in any way?

What answer would you go by?

- The most common one?
- The one that urges you to take some kind of "in the middle" approach?
- The one that says - be first?
- The one that says, whenever a youtube tutorial with "most easy way" in the title comes out?
- The one that says, that they'd buy another Switch, when Nintendo releases it in a new color or print, and then do whatever is popular at the time, probably?

- The ones, that have the word piracy in them? (Finally they could tell people what they were waiting for!)
- The ones that said, that waiting is probably best - let others deal with problems, they don't have, because they didn't hack?

- The second software solution (whatever that is at this point)?

Any answer you'd prefer? Everyone has a good point, I presume?

Oh, and dont worry about the "walk in the park" part. Thats meta. Probably too meta.

(What I've learned so far is: No wonder every youtuber is asking the public for something he's very interested in getting answered by a bunch of random people - the participation numbers are astonishing...)
