ROM Hack How to use SaltySD

Alright so I got the basics out of the way like placing files and folders and setting stuff up in Luma. I think I'm supposed to make a code_saltySD.bin and I tried but patch.py isn't giving me anything. Is there something I'm missing?

You have to obtain the code.bin from the update (if you downloaded the 1.1 update). Then you can use the IPS Patches I put together here to patch your code.bin. Note these patches only work with the 1.1 update.

If you're on the latest nightly luma, place the IPS patch you want in luma/titles/<title ID> and repace the <title ID> part with the title ID of Sun or Moon.

If you have the latest stable version of luma, place your patched code.bin inside of luma/code_sections and rename code.bin to either Sun or Moon's title ID.

If you want to use SaltySD for Smash, then I have no clue.
