Homebrew How to use .elf apps?

I have a couple of .elf apps I want to run, but how do I actually open them, the homebrew launcher doesn't seem to recognize them...

    If your throat closes, putting oxygen in your mouth will not solve anything - as you will be introducing oxygen prior to the area of obstruction
