I tried putting the xinput1_3.dll and x360ce.ini into the /Gamepads/ folder but that didn't work either...(
Umm, you actually have to put these files in the program's folder, or in the same directory of the .exe file, not inside any folder. Try that too...

I used Motioninjoy with an Offline patch for my off brand PS3 controller there is a setting inside of the program to emulate Xinput

Does anyone have a noob tutorial how to use luma's input redirection for PS2 Controller?
I don't understand how to make external software work with this, like JoyToKey etc.

x360ce worked for me. Steps that I took:

1)Copy x360ce.exe, xinput1_3.dll and x360ce.ini into the folder containing InputRedirectionClient-Qt.exe
2)Entered 3ds IP and test the controller
3)If fail, close the program and rename xinput1_3.dll to xinput1_1.dll.

The name of the dll file is xinput1_3.dll by default. However, the format of the name is like xinput1_X.dll. So replace X from 1 to 4 and repeat the process until the controller work.

Else if, a shortcut can be taken by copying and pasting the file and having 5 copies of it with the following name:
xinput1_1.dll
xinput1_2.dll
xinput1_3.dll
xinput1_4.dll
xinput9_1_0.dll

x360ce worked for me. Steps that I took:

1)Copy x360ce.exe, xinput1_3.dll and x360ce.ini into the folder containing InputRedirectionClient-Qt.exe
2)Entered 3ds IP and test the controller
3)If fail, close the program and rename xinput1_3.dll to xinput1_1.dll.

xinput1_1.dll
xinput1_2.dll
xinput1_3.dll
xinput1_4.dll
xinput9_1_0.dll
It's working now!Thanks!:)

Did you get C-stick/ZL/ZR buttons working with this method? If so, how?

Is there a way to remap the buttons using x360ce? Simply changing the values in the box doesn't seem to work for me...
Also, is there a way to unlock the tab "Axis to Button"? Since you can control the camera with the d-pad on Monster Hunter, I thought it could just be remapped.
