Hacking How to upgrade from 3.4 to 4.1

Hi,
I want to upgrade from 3.4 to 4.1. I currently have home brew with backup launcher.

1. What is the best to bring the wii to 4.1 virgin.

2. How do I install homebrew and backup launcher...

That method is old and does not work on new Wii's. If you already have the HBC, cIOS, and a backup launcher installed, just use Waninkoko's 4.1 updater and you shouldn't lose anything.

Also if your cIOS isn't rev 14, update to that. If your backup launcher isn't NeoGamma R6, update to that.

Just replace step 8 with cIOS rev14 and skip steps 9 and 10 (ESPECIALLY if you have a recently bought boot2v4 Wii.)

I don't understand why everyone recommends this. There are still significant problems with cIOS Rev 14 that need to be worked out before I'm going to be upgrading.

What "significant" problems do you have with rev14 in particular? I've had no problems at all with it yet.
