Hacking How to update USB Loader GX without internet?

My Wii came with a broken network adapter so I cannot update my USB Loader GX within the program through it's updator. I was wondering if anyone knew how to update it? I have the new r842.dol and r842.wad but I have no idea what to do with them. This is a softmod and I'm using my SD card... Inside Apps\usbloader_gx it has boot.dol, icon.png, and meta.xml. In the wad\ folder it was pretty much filled with random wads..

Does anyone know how to update it?

Rename your updated .dol to Boot.dol and simply overwrite the existing one in your application folder.

p.s. The description will still read the older version unless you update the meta.xml by hand.
