I'm on the older Prometheus frimware, if I want to upgrade to Prometheus-2 do I have to run the GEN D3 updater and then run the Prometheus-2? Sorry if this has been asked already, I couldn't find an answer.

no.

probably a noob question but whats the exact difference between softmodding and the pandora battery method?

You can either use hen or mms in a nutshell. Hen route is annoying as hell but doesnt require a pandora.

First off, if this was covered, or in the wrong place, sorry. I honestly don't know much about PSP's. My hubby has one moded. The current software is verison 3.80. He is trying to play little big planet. It is telling him he needs to update to 6.00. We have the battery and such to remod if doing this erases the mod, but I know that with new updates sometimes they cannot be moded...

Is this the case with 6.0? Any recommendations??

Thanks!!
(Hope that made since lol)

(I posted this as it's own topic. I don't know how to delete that, if a moderator could do that I would appreciate it. It seems like this is a more appropriate place for it.)

All you can do on the PSP Go as far as homebrew is concerned is Half Byte Loader....however, no Kernel access means lack of functionality (and NO ISO Loader!)

Hi guys and guru's,

I have a fat PSP on 5.00 M33-6

Where do I go next for upgrades?

I have looked around the net but haven't seen a guide I trusted so I have returned to the trusted GBAtemp

Why upgrade you ask

Well I am having trouble running some PSX eboots and I would like to use a 8gb micro SD card in a PSPmem sleeve.

thanks for any advice you can give.

Upgrading from where you are won't help PSX eboot compatibility and will have a negative effect on MS speed access from that adapter....

Cheers guys I have since discovered the amazing popsloader which has solved my problems.

Found my answers on my own!

Wait for the ones here are my questions:

1. I am on system version 5.50 D3 Gen(I dunno if that the exact one) is that good?

Answer: Yes even great! Your psp has been soft-modded!

2. How do I play homebrew?

Answer: Download your shit if there is a psp folder in than just copy paste to your card. Else look at read-me.text or whatever.

Does doing this allow you to run .isos without the pandora battery? Read a page back that if FW is < 6.10 (on a 100x) then you won't need the pandora battery. I just want to make sure it runs isos.

Now to mod this shiest! Just hope I don't need to be on OFW 5/5.3

Got a problem here. The 5.03 download is a rar, which only contains the eboot thing. There is no update folder. It also gives me a weird error message when I start the update through the psp. I just created the Update folder. What the hell is going on.
