Ok so I'm trying to install M33-6 on a PSP-1001 using Hellcat's Recovery Flasher as per the guide but it says the checksum for the 5.00 update eboot is wrong for both filetrip and psphack's update downloads.

So anyone know where to get the correct one?

You're using version 1.6 of Hellcat's recovery flasher, right?

Yep I'm using Hellcat's Recovery Flasher 1.6

Unfortunately the firmware you posted fails harder than the ones on Filetrip and linked by OP

i have done everything but i cant open a cso/iso file where do i have to put the games?
when i look at my system information it says that i am on gen c (full) but i tried several games but stil i see damaged data.

Which games are you trying to run?

Put them in the ISO folder.
And remember to set UMD ISO MODE to m33 Driver.

When you say the data is damaged, I'm guess a "Corrupted data" message appears? Keep the above settings, but it's possible the dump is bad.

4th one down is the exact one i used and it's the psphack one. Just put it on and hope for the best. If not then just unbrick it.

Think you have to format the card within the psp (that's how most things create their maps i think), after that there should be an ISO folder in the root.

If you already got CFW, you don't have to redo the steps

Well, formatting your memory stick doesn't cause the CFW to disappear, resetting the PSP does.
If it is semi-cfw, just back up your PSP folder and h.bin on the root and transfer it back on when you've formatted

You're totally wrong about that one. All the new games have to be the patched versions to run. So yes, there's a huge point.

They don't actually work you idiot. Thats why they need to be patched. Hey maybe you enjoy pain in the ass methods but everyone else likes to have up to date methods. Gen C isn't up to date so as soon as D comes out I'll update like everyone else with half a brain.
