hello all!

haven't had to setup a CFW on a PSP in a few years now- back in the days of m33 versions. so this is all kinda new to me.

i have the red God of War PSP 2001 model, on OFW 6.30.

i'm assuming i should upgrade it to 6.60, then follow the "6.60 PRO (temporary or permanent) installation" method?

sweet! thank ya much.

now on to another subject, the link in the "6.60 PRO (temporary or permanent) installation" is broken. anyone have this file?
We've had a handful of annoying members complaining about "gray area" downloads such as OFWs. So it was probably removed to satiate their whining.

Here's another link:
http://www.wololo.net/downloads/index.php/version/1583
(I assume you were talking about the OFW files as the PRO CFW links are still good)

You see, when it appears as "Sony Entertainment"
Mines 5.03. Then I go to restore to default settings and then go to photos where chick hen will run. Then run the game "CFWEnabler 3.60"
And then my CFW comes as 5.03 MHU and I can play games. But I just want to see whether my PSP is fully hacked.
Cause I think this method is very old. Hacking is fun ^_^

If it just says 5.03, then no, you have a temporary hack. All you need to do is restart the PSP (turn it fully off, then on), and then start one of the normal hack guides (the ones that start by updating to 6.x).

Ok, lemme get this straight (Please don't mind cause I'm a little dumb in PSP Hacking)
My official psp firmware (or what you call it) says: Version 5.03
So what you're saying is, follow the guide that starts by updating to 6.x. (What's X? :P)
Should I start with:

6.20 PRO (permanent) installation.

6.60 PRO (temporary or permanent) installation
or
Updating PRO to the latest version.

The x stands for "whatever". 6.60, 6.20, 6.39, 6.35... 6.x means any of them.

Yes, update to 6.20 or 6.60 and do it.

Since mines 3000, I'll do 6.20.
Hope I won't brick my PSP by doin somethin stupid. So step 1: Get my firmware to 6.20 (I'll be posting on where I'm at the moment if you don't mind to make sure I do it right)

Now in the site where I'm downloading the firmware, it says that they're not sure if it works on a 3000 or go.
Will it work?
(Name of file: PSP Firmware 6.20 (For NON PSP GO systems))

Ok, got a problem.
My files in the PSP got very corrupted and almost every file I goto: Un-accessible

Here's a pic

So my only option is to format, so can anyone list the file directory for the PSP?
