How to re-size animated gifs ?

    I got gifs ranging from sizes of 100K to 13MB and are quite large(dimensions), I want to re-size them to something like avatar size while keeping the animation.
    Suggestions ?

    Open it in GIMP to resize it (Image - Size/Dimensions or whatever) and when you save it as a GIF choose to make an animation instead of flattening the layers
